Patch Management Lead
(Location : Kl / Pj / Tpm Cyberjaya )

Description

•	Establish and implement patch management process.
•	Focal personnel to ensure patch management is adhered by all product lines.
•	Ensure all product lines' engineers or related personnel are trained and made aware of the patch management policy and procedures;
•	Clearly assign engineers and other authorized personnel specific patch management and vulnerability correction responsibilities;
•	Ensure the patches are properly applied to avoid any vulnerability exposures.
•	Improve the patch management process such as automated patch management solution to facilitate compliance with the policy and to promote efficiency for all systems
•	Ensure that the Inventory of Hardware and Software and Patch Status is developed in an electronic database to maintain and track status of all patch actions and vulnerability corrections and to provide rapid response to internal or external reporting requirements;
•	Report patch management status monthly to GSS Director.
•	Request a formal exception through the established process for any systems which are not compliant.

Qualifications

•	Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
•	Required skills: Information Security, Network security, security technologies particularly on patch management and tools
•	Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia
•	At least 5 years working experience in the domain of Information Security and 3 years in Patch Management.
•	Possess working experience in patch management, networks, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), vulnerability scanners, firewalls, server security and system management.
•	Familiar with security technologies and keen interest in learning & knowledge within security domain as well as patch management.
•	Possess working experience and advanced knowledge in Windows 2000/XP and/or Unix (Solaris/Linux) and/or mainframe security and/or AS400 security
•	A team player with excellent interpersonal, analytical, organization and communication skills and ability to work in demanding environment
•	Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
•	Preferably experience in conformance of ISO9000 standard or ITIL.
