Regional Storage and Backups Manager
(Location : Kl / Pj / Tpm Cyberjaya )
Overall Role Purpose
•
Leads a team of engineering professionals accountable for all aspects of storage and backups implementation, support and service delivery including multi-platform, multi-software package technical support, team management, customer satisfaction, financials, problem identification and resolution.
•
Ensure performance and delivery with metrics and benchmarks reporting for service level reporting.
•
Communicates with customers and CSC management concerning storage and backups requirements and issues.
•
Develops strategy and costings.
•
Interface with vendor and CSC global on 3rd level support.
•
Directs activities of multiple team employees operating across a variety of countries in Asia for support operations.
•
Development of Quality Standards and Procedures.
Technology:
Manages and integrates a wide variety of technical services and/ or product lines to provide support to a designated customer population within defined geographical region.
People:
Trains, motivates, manages, and develops both supervisory and non-supervisory employees.
Customer:
Works with client to enhance delivery of service through effective monitoring of programs, process improvement and problem prevention/resolution initiatives.
Business:
Leverages business, technical, and interpersonal skills to manage engineering operations, customers and operations personnel.
Financial:
Develops and implements monthly/annual operational budgets, forecasts and business plans to ensure proper planning for impacts of marketing efforts, outages, service level agreements and other issues.
