•
*2 years working experience in Windows Server System administration (including basic administration, security, networking, backup, monitoring, and virus scan activities) with acceptable knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, Web Services (IIS), DNS & DHCP, Firewall and Network protocols.
•
Good working knowledge in Remote access tools and console (PCAnywhere or VNC or Terminal Server, or Citrix) & any management console
•
Good understanding and working experience in Windows Active Directory
•
Good understanding of and working experience in installing Operating Systems patches and Windows Service Packs will be added advantages
•
Good knowledge of troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
•
Working experience in clusters management in Windows Server environments will be added advantage
•
Working experience in basic database administration, like startup and shutdown of databases, shrinking database transaction logs will be added advantage
•
Familiar with LAN environment on Hardware/Peripheral maintenance and troubleshooting skills will be added advantage
•
Knowledge of ticketing tools such Remedy or HP Openview monitoring will be a plus
•

General Scope of Work
•
Responsible for administrating, monitoring and maintenance of servers, server software, system and system/server security.
•
Ensure service availability and reliability of Windows platform servers and resolve incidents within target as specified in the Service Level Agreement
•
Handle requests and break-fix tasks in a run-and-maintain operating environment
•
Participate in identifying the root cause analysis of repeating problems and escalate to the responsible party for recovery and future prevention
•
Involve in new projects implementation and responsible for post and pre implementation support and documentation
•
To provide day-to-day support to customer queries
•
Need to have good analytical and problem solving skills;

Bachelors Degree in any discipline - Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in IT
