Systems Programmer

Description

•	Computer related studies would be preferable.
•	Understanding of UNIX and Wintel Servers and the integration of storage solutions.
•	Understanding of Veritas Clustering technologies.
•	Strong knowledge of open systems SRDF for DR purposes.
•	Experience in provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting enterprise storage systems.
•	Ability to perform storage analysis / capacity planning to make recommendations for growth.
•	Provide technical guidance to other members of the storage team.
•	Experience with Fiber Channel switches.
•	Experience with SAN applications such as Data Replication, Snap Shots, and Virtualization Technologies.
•	Ability to implement enterprise management / monitoring tools to ensure 100% uptime and availability.
•	Provide Technical Project Management on Storage projects as required.
•	Must communicate well at a technical level; both verbally and in writing.
•	Must work well with others as part of larger team.
•	Must be available and willing to work extended and/or alternative hours as needed for rollouts, system upgrades, etc.
•	Able to work independently to meet goals and objectives with limited supervision.
•	Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
•	Strong knowledge of EMC management tools for reporting and proactive monitoring and day to day operations.
